Welcome to CareerLit Consulting Services!
CareerLit Consulting Services provides a series of workshops focused on workforce and small business development for clients in the Metro Atlanta and surrounding states. We work with a variety of clients to include transitioning veterans and students to prepare them for the changing workforce.
People often struggle in the career planning and development process whether it be networking, understanding transferrable skills, and etc.
We understand that many people have anxiety about TRANSITION & CHANGE, so we operate where the client is and that keeps clients focused and engaged. By combining the latest technology with traditional techniques, we give our clients options that work best for them.
We also provide training for career counselors that wish to become certified in career counseling (CDF) and dissertation writing workshops for students pursuing their Masters and Doctoral degrees.
Pia L. Scott "Dr. P", Chief Executive Officer & Founder
In 2016, Pia L. Scott earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management from Drexel University. She has a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. She started her consulting business in January of 2016 but has been in the field of career counseling for the last six years working in various states that include Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Georgia.
She is a native of Charleston, South Carolina with a passion for helping others with their career goals and is dedicated to providing quality services focused on personal and professional growth. She also devotes a lot of time volunteering with Creating Our Future, Inc. and Be the Match. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and friends and traveling.
Ulanda Smalls Scott, Executive Administrative Assistant
Ulanda earned her Bachelors degree in Biology from Claflin University and completed her Masters in Human Resources from Webster University. She has over 20 plus years of experience in a variety of fields: medical, industrial, and in the federal government. She is a scheduling extraordinaire and prides herself in making sure that the business runs smoothly.
She is a native of Charleston, South Carolina and enjoys spending time with her family, painting, and making Sweet Grass Baskets. She devotes her time to working with youth in the community.
