Dr. Pia L. Scott-Boston
LPC, NCC, ACS
Dr. Scott-Boston is a dedicated Counselor, Speaker, Consultant, Educator, Community Servant, and Author. A proud two-time South Carolina State University graduate, she holds a BA in Criminal Justice and an MA in Rehabilitation Counseling. She earned her EdD in Educational Leadership from Drexel University and is pursuing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Mercer University.
With over 15 years of experience spanning Human Services, State Government, Nonprofits, and Higher Education, Dr. Scott-Boston has made lasting contributions to the academic and mental health fields.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia and South Carolina, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), Dr. Scott-Boston’s expertise is broad, with research interests in paternal mental health, multicultural counseling, cultural competence, social and racial justice, diversity, equity, inclusion, supervision and training, as well as counselor and workplace well-being. She founded Think Positive Counseling & Coaching, LLC, which offers counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, and the P L Scott Group, LLC, which provides coaching and consulting to individuals, groups, and organizations.
Dr. Scott-Boston is an active Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. member, the visionary author of How I Got Over: The Educational Pursuit of Black Female Scholars, and the How I Got Over Conference and Tour founder. Her work has been featured in Drexel University’s Alumni Newsletter, Drexel University’s Impact Podcast, South Carolina State University’s 40 Under 40 Honorees, Vision and Purpose Magazine, and VoyageATL. In 2022, she was honored as one of the Top Ten Professionals by the Douglas County Chamber. She was also featured in the documentary BIPOC in America, sharing her valuable insights on mental health, diversity, and personal experiences in corporate America.
Dr. Scott-Boston is the new Chair of the ACA of Georgia. She has presented at Columbia University, the University of North Carolina, South Carolina State University, Drexel University, Southern New Hampshire University, and Georgia State University, where she has spoken on topics related to diversity, mental health, and the transition from college to career.
Deidre M. Light
MA, APC, NCC
Deidre is a compassionate and dedicated counselor with extensive experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Tourism Studies, with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation, from Old Dominion University, and holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
Deidre takes a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy—grounded in empathy, active listening, and unconditional positive regard. She integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness techniques to help clients achieve meaningful and lasting growth. Her approach considers the emotional, social, physical, and spiritual dimensions of each individual, fostering a safe and collaborative space for healing and self-discovery.
In addition to her clinical work, Deidre brings valuable leadership and program management experience. As the Senior Services Program Coordinator for the City of Savannah, she has overseen wellness programs, built community partnerships, and supported individuals of all abilities. Her previous roles as a Senior Center Director and Recreation Therapist allowed her to combine therapeutic principles with recreational modalities to enhance independence and improve quality of life—particularly for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
Deidre’s unique blend of clinical expertise, community engagement, and therapeutic recreation underscores her commitment to empowering others and promoting holistic well-being.

Servant Pastor
Rev. Jenkins is a dedicated servant pastor who passionately encourages individuals to engage with their Bible, their hearts, and their faith to nurture a deeper, more meaningful relationship with the Lord. With a strong commitment to spiritual growth, Rev. Jenkins provides pastoral care with a comprehensive approach that spans family systems, spiritual self-care, and therapeutic methodologies for pre-marital, marital, and couples counseling.
In addition to one-on-one pastoral support, Rev. Jenkins facilitates group sessions, offering a collective pastoral experience for those seeking connection and guidance in their spiritual journey. His unwavering dedication to the well-being of others makes him a trusted leader and compassionate counselor, always striving to uplift and empower others in their faith and relationships.
Tiana Boston
Administrative Assistant
Tiana is a dedicated Administrative Assistant with over three years of experience supporting counseling and coaching professionals. With a strong foundation in office management, client relations, and administrative coordination, Tiana ensures the seamless operation of the practice while creating a welcoming, professional atmosphere for clients. Tiana prioritizes efficiency and confidentiality and is proficient in appointment scheduling, maintaining confidential records, and managing client communications. She is also skilled in billing and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations, offering vital administrative support to both clients and practitioners. Passionate about mental health and personal development, Tiana approaches her work with compassion and strong organizational skills. Her ability to multitask, solve problems, and streamline processes makes her an indispensable asset to the team.

Chanel is a seasoned leader with over a decade of experience in practice management, specializing in operational efficiency and client outcomes within the behavioral health field. Holding a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Chanel brings a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for implementing streamlined solutions that enhance practitioner performance and patient care. Her areas of expertise include budgeting, workflow optimization, and contract management—skills she has used to drive measurable improvements in service delivery and patient retention.
As the CEO of EOA Services, Chanel is known for her commitment to accuracy, transparency, and personalized support. She partners closely with behavioral health professionals, guiding them through the complexities of insurance credentialing and empowering them to build thriving, sustainable practices.
