Who Are We?

Hello! I am Dr. Pia L. Scott Founder of CareerLit Consulting Services. I am a Counselor, Speaker, Consultant, Community Servant, and Educator. My newest book “How I Got Over” is available to read.

When people are in search of a rewarding career, it is not uncommon that they struggle with figuring out what they want to do and how to get there. My passion is helping individuals figure out their personal and professional goals through licensure and certification.

I understand there is no one size fits all approach in career development. I help my clients navigate through those career struggles.

My educational background includes a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from South Carolina State University. I have a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management with a focus in Higher Education Administration from Drexel University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and South Carolina.
